Nabil Thistle Trial - Ipswich Town News
Town youngster Nabil Abidallah has joined Scottish side Partick Thistle on trial. The 21-year-old Dutchman will spend time at Firhill with a view to a permanent switch.
Abidallah, offered a free by Town, recently spent time with Swiss club FC Thun but failed to impress them. Afterwards he said he wanted to stay at Town but a move to somewhere where he has a better chance of first team football may appeal.
The midfielder joined Town on a free from Ajax in the summer of 2000 and has a year left on his contract. Thistle are set to sign the superbly named Emmanuel Panther.
