Ipswich Town Women have appointed Phoebe Webb as PGA manager, replacing former boss Joe Sheehan who had been in that role until joining Charlton as assistant coach earlier this summer.
Town launched their Professional Game Academy, which will improve the pathway young players, earlier this year following a successful application.
The set-up will initially see a side competing in the PGA U21 Women's League South alongside academies from the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal and Spurs, followed by an expansion into other age groups.
Webb has worked at the club and the Ipswich Town Foundation on women’s football since December 2022.
"I’m really excited to be taking on the role of PGA manager this season,” she said.
"It’s a great opportunity to contribute to the development of the programme and, most importantly, help create an environment where players and staff can develop and thrive.
"I’m looking forward to the challenge ahead and seeing the impact we can have as a collective both on and off the pitch.
"I’ve been pleased with the level of the group so far and it was great to see the girls get their reward recently with a 4-1 win against West Ham followed by 3-1 win at Tottenham Hotspur.”

Sean Burt, Town Women’s technical director added: "We’re delighted to announce Phoebe as our new PGA manager. Her strong understanding of the current PGA landscape, both within our programme and across the region, made this a natural decision.
"We’re really excited to see her build on the foundations already in place and continue to drive the development of our PGA programme moving forwards.”
