Transfer Embargo Lifted - Ipswich Town News
Town have confirmed that as expected the transfer embargo was lifted by the Football League at their board meeting today.
Manager Joe Royle is now free to bring in players, with Guinean international defender Drissa Diallo expected to be announced as his first signing perhaps as soon as tomorrow.
Royle told the club site he is pleased to be back in business: "All the talk has been of players leaving the club over the past few months but after coming out of administration and having our 'share' returned to us, it's nice to be able to bring in players as well now."
