Anyway the hot ITFC news is that Romeo has now been appointed 'Head of International Scouting' only a few weeks after becoming the club's European Scout. According to Town: "Based in Holland, Romeo shall be responsible for all scouting activities abroad, establishing an international database of players not only from Holland but countries such as Argentina, Sweden, Denmark, Italy and France." Presumably not Brazil, Norway, Finland, Greece and Germany though.
George Burley said of the appointment: "This is definitely a step forward for the Club to employ someone of Romeo's calibre and network of contacts to work exclusively to co-ordinate our international scouting activities. Romeo will be in regular liaison with myself and Colin Suggett, our Chief Scout, on the progress and movements of foreign players. We also have the benefit of having a well established relationship with Romeo so he fully understands the calibre and style of players we are seeking to strengthen our squad". Cool and he can sort out the videos for the team bus as well!
