Holland in Ireland Action - Ipswich Town News
Town captain Matt Holland is in Ireland action on Wednesday evening against Georgia in Dublin. The Irish will hope to put on a better display than they did in the 2-1 last gasp win against Albania at the weekend.
Holland says he will start to consider Portsmouth's contract offer once the Irish matches are out of the way.
He will be back on Thursday but has a break with his family planned for the weekend. A decision on his future may well have to wait until next week or even later with Holland saying he is in no hurry.
Town striker Darren Bent was on the bench for the England U21s 2-0 win against Slovakia at a very sparsely populated Stadium of Light on Tuesday night.
Bent and former Blue Darren Ambrose failed to come on for David Platt's side.
