England Game Announcement - Ipswich Town News
The FA and Town have called a press conference for 11am on Wednesday where the Portman Road England-Croatia friendly international will finally be officially confirmed.
Reports concerning an England game at Portman Road first appeared 18 months ago but were strenuously denied by the club.
Back in November TWTD reported that Croatia would be England's opponents on August 20th, but neither the FA nor the club would confirm that the game would take place.
Town chairman David Sheepshanks and FA Director of Marketing and Communications Paul Barber will be the men making the announcement in the Portman Road Media Suite tomorrow.
As is FA policy for England games, Town fans will receive no special ticket provision. All seats will be on sale through Ticketmaster.
