Celtic Keeper Linked - Ipswich Town News
Town are being linked with out-of-contract Celtic goalkeeper Javier Sanchez Broto. The Spaniard only joined the Bhoys in January as injury cover, for an undisclosed fee from Livingston.
The 31-year-old played 10 games in his short spell at Parkhead. He was with Livingston for two years where he impressed in 54 appearances.
Previously the 6'1" stopper was with Airdrie, having been brought to Scotland from Malaga by Steve Archibald in 1999. Prior to that he played for Real Zaragoza (where he won a Spanish Cup winners' medal in 1995), Villareal and Castellon.
Town are on the look-out for an experienced out-of-contract keeper with Andy Marshall, James Pullen and Matteo Sereni not in their plans.
