No Athletic Confirmation - Ipswich Town News
Town are still to confirm the pre-season friendly with Spanish club Athletic Bilbao. The Basque side's visit was expected to have been officially announced yesterday.
Athletic president Javier Uria died of cancer last week and manager Jupp Heynckes has left to join to Schalke 04, leaving the club in a state of flux.
The Blues are awaiting a signed contract from Athletic. Once they have received that then the Friday, August 1st game will be confirmed.
