League Cup Draw - Ipswich Town News
Town will find out who their League Cup round one opponents are on Wednesday morning at 10am. The League Cup, recently known as the Worthington Cup, will be known as the Carling Cup for the next three seasons.
Football League chairman Sir Brian Mawhinney welcomed the League Cup's association with the former Premiership sponsors: "This new agreement is terrific news for the League. The healthy increase in revenue it delivers will provide a timely boost to our clubs as they begin their preparations for the new season and is a massive vote of confidence in League football."
