Town Draw Kidderminster - Ipswich Town News
Town have drawn Kidderminster Harriers at home in the first round of the Carling Cup (League Cup). The game will be played on either August 12th or 13th and will be settled on the night.
The first round of the competition was drawn on a regional basis. This is the first time since the 1999/00 season the Blues have been involved at this stage of the League Cup. For two seasons they were in the Premiership while last year Town's European commitments saw them get a bye to round two.
The Blues have never previously played the Harriers in a competitive fixture.
