Dutch Date for Town? - Ipswich Town News
Reports in Holland say Town are lining up a game against Dutch side FC Twente Enschede if the planned friendly against Spanish club Athletic Bilbao falls through.
The match against the Bilbao side, scheduled for Friday, August 1st, was set to be confirmed earlier this week, but the death of club president Javier Uria last week and the departure of manager Jupp Heynckes have seen a delay in the game's confirmation.
The proposed FC Twente game would be played away in Holland on the afternoon of Saturday, August 2nd.
