Mogga Misses Out - Ipswich Town News
Town coach Tony Mowbray has missed out on the manager's job at Hartlepool United. Mowbray has long been keen to take his first steps into management and saw an opportunity to do so with the north-east side.
Former Stoke boss Steve Cotterill is set for the job after being sacked from his post at Sunderland late last season.
Mowbray will now look forward to Town's new season. He has the backing of Joe Royle should he wish to apply for further management jobs.
A number of Town players are already back getting themselves fit for the new season. Fabian Wilnis, Martijn Reuser, Alun Armstrong and others have got into the swing of things early with pre-season training starting on July 2nd.
