No Sky Games for Town - Ipswich Town News
Town do not feature in any of the early season live Sky TV matches, although there is a possibility that the West Ham match on August 30th, may move to a 5.35pm kick-off for early evening coverage.
That game is is under discussion, but would still constitute a poor return for Town, one of the division's bigger clubs. Last season the Blues were screened only twice, the away win at Walsall on the opening day of the season and the home win against Portsmouth towards the end.
Town chairman David Sheepshanks spoke out against Sky's Nationwide League deal at the beginning of last season and his club's lack of coverage - and resulting revenue - will equally vex him.
