Willie Gains Pro-Licence - Ipswich Town News
Town coach Willie Donachie has been awarded a UEFA Pro-Licence at a ceremony at Warwick University. Donachie joined Town as assistant to Joe Royle in October last year.
Pro-Licences are the top qualification in the field and only 30 UK coaches hold one.
Donachie has been in coaching a long while but even he learnt something on the course: "For me it helped me to understand the importance of working with individuals more. It is something I have tried to do before anyway but I found this helpful."
Tony Mowbray, who missed out on the Hartlepool job this week, is also taking the same course and will complete it next year.
