No Twente Game for Town - Ipswich Town News

Town will not be facing FC Twente Enschede in a friendly on August 2nd, the Dutch club having announced that they will be facing Spanish side Real Zaragoza that day.

The Blues' planned game with Athletic Bilbao on August 1st has been cancelled and reports in Holland indicated that an away fixture with Twente, the former club of Arnold Muhren, Frans Thijssen and Romeo Zondervan, was under discussion.

Town said towards the end of last week that they are looking for a side to replace Athletic in the traditional last week of pre-season slot.
