Trust and Club Meet - Ipswich Town News

Ipswich Town Ist, the newly formed Supporters Trust, have welcomed a preliminary meeting with the club as a "good first step".

Three representatives of the Trust were invited to the meeting with David Sheepshanks and chief executive Derek Bowden.

Trust chairman Carl Day says the club are seriously considering one of the Trust's core aims: "Once the club had got clarification on a number of issues they were quite open to the possibility of supporter representation on the club's board.

"We were invited to attend the next board meeting in September which is a big step forward.

"The meeting was very contructive and it was a good first step."

Ipswich Town Ist holds its official launch meeting at the Novotel on Thursday, July 10th. All are welcome to attend and learn more about the Trust, which is being backed by a number of Town legends including Kevin Beattie, John Wark, Jason Cundy, James Scowcroft and Russell Osman.

For more details on the Trust email either Carl Day (Carl@seawingintl.co.uk) or Philip Ham (philip.ham@twtd.co.uk).
