No Bhoys Return for Broto - Ipswich Town News

Town keeper target Javier Sanchez Broto says he is not expecting to return to Celtic next season. The Spaniard's short deal with the Glasgow giants was up last week and Joe Royle has admitted he is a player interesting him.

Broto says a return to Parkhead looks unlikely: "At the moment, I don't feel very good at all. I don't know if there is any chance of going back to Celtic now."

Scottish Premier League side Hearts are also said to be interested in the 31-year-old.

Town are only likely to make a move for a new keeper if Matteo Sereni is sold to an Italian club. Other keepers interesting Royle are Ben Roberts and Paul Gerrard while a number of others have been linked.

Also getting a mention in connection with Town by the papers is Sheffield Wednesday's Shefki Kuqi.

The striker was previously linked with the Blues towards the end of last year when Town were looking for a loanee. Unless an existing attacker leaves it seems unlikely that the Finn would become an immediate Blues' target.
