Hermann on Winning Side - Ipswich Town News
Town's new signing Hermann Hreidarsson was on the winning side last night as Iceland beat Sweden 2-1 in a friendly. Goals from Dadarson and a penalty from Sigardsson cancelled out a Mjallby goal. The Icelander is expected to be paraded by Town this afternoon. Iceland side: Ãrni Gautur Arason, Audun Helgasson, Hermann Hreidarsson, Pétur Marteinsson, Tryggvi Gudmundsson (Arnar Thór Vidarsson 63), Rúnar Kristinsson (Arnar Grétarsson 82), Brynjar Gunnarsson, Eyjólfur Sverrisson, Eidur Gudjohnsen, Thórdur Gudjohnson (Helgi Kolvidsson 66) and Rikhardur Dadason (Helgi Sigurdsson 69).
The situation with tickets for Spurs seems to be causing more worry for Town fans. More emails this morning suggest that many tickets for Saturday's game have still not arrived. In addition to this several people expecting to have received Away Match Passports have experienced problems, one fan receiving twice as many tickets as he was expecting. Others though look set to miss out on Spurs as problems are sorted out while groups of fans expecting to be sat together will be spread out throughout the away section.
