Duo Miss Tour - Ipswich Town News

Defenders John McGreal and Matt Richards will miss out on Town's pre-season tour to Scandinavia. Richards has a hamstring knock while McGreal is still on the way back from the knee problem which kept him out at the end of last season.

Marcus Bent will be OK for the tour despite a sore knee but trained yesterday.

Youngsters Aidan Collins, Antonio Murray, Ian Westlake and Dean Bowditch will all be on their first senior tours.

Bowditch joined up with the squad yesterday - a day earlier than required - after being given permission to return late after international duty at the beginning of the summer.

Darren Bent is set to join the squad this week after missing out on the early stages of pre-season for similar reasons.
