Drissa Committed to Town - Ipswich Town News

New Town signing Drissa Diallo has reiterated his decision not to play for Guinea while with the Blues, however he says that this could change in the future. Diallo joined up with his new team-mates earlier this week.

The Mauritania-born central defender says: "You can never say never but at the moment I will not be playing again for the national team and I will concentrate purely on my club.

"I won't be going away to play for Guinea so I will always be available to play for Ipswich."

Guinea are in with a chance of qualifying for the African Nations Cup. Finidi George's Nigeria were in a similar position two years ago and the former Ajax player missed a large chunk of the season as a result.
