Sereni Deal Imminent - Ipswich Town News
Reports in Italy say Lazio expect to complete the signing of keeper Matteo Sereni on Saturday. The Blues have agreed a deal with the Roman club and the player has been in discussions regarding his contract.
Sereni is set to be second choice keeper to Angelo Peruzzi at the Serie A side who are managed by his friend and former Sampdoria team-mate Roberto Mancini. Lazio are understood to be offering the glovesman a three-year deal.
Town are likely to receive some cash for the 28-year-old with a sell-on clause included and two Portman Road pre-season friendlies topping up the deal.
