Kieron Windfall? - Ipswich Town News
Town could receive an unexpected windfall should Kieron Dyer leave Newcastle with the Magpies making a profit on the £6 million fee they paid Town in the summer of 1999.
Manchester United and Chelsea are both reported to be chasing Dyer who watched the Blues last week at Southend.
Newcastle are reported to have slapped a £25 million price tag on the 24-year-old's head, a figure which must be provoking a fair amount of interest in the Town board room.
When Dyer was sold to Newcastle the Blues included a number of clauses in his contract such as extra money on appearances and an undisclosed percentage of any sell-on which could now bear fruit at an ideal time for the club.
