West Brom chairman Jeremy Peace has confirmed that his club have put in a bid for Town defender Thomas Gaards¢e.
The Baggies' boss says that what they have offered is not tempting Town: "We can confirm we have made an offer for Thomas but, at the moment, we are some way apart in terms of the price.
"Thomas is one of several targets for that position we have under consideration."
