Davis Talks This Weekend - Ipswich Town News
Town manager Joe Royle will continue to have talks with keeper Kelvin Davis' agent, Wimbledon boss Stuart Murdoch and the Dons' administrators over the weekend over the stopper's switch to Portman Road.
Royle will be looking to tie-up the deal as soon as possible with friendlies against Boston and Levski Sofia next week giving Davis a chance to get to know his defence before the season's opener against Reading on August 9th.
Reports elsewhere claim that Everton and Birmingham are both interested in Davis, however it appears Town are the most likely to gain his signature.
