Injured Players Return - Ipswich Town News
New skipper Jim Magilton is likely to return to the side which faces Colchester United this afternoon in a friendly at Layer Road. Magilton missed all but five minutes of the tour of Scandinavia with a hamstring injury.
Also back are left-back Matt Richards, Tommy Miller (both hamstring) and Jermaine Wright (groin).
Missing will be Richard Naylor (swollen knee) and Gerard Nash who had five stitches after a clash of heads at Trelleborg earlier in the week. Nabil Abidallah has been left out of the squad.
John McGreal is still not considered ready after his knee ligament injury at the end of last season while Thomas Gaardsøe, a West Brom target last week, is expected to be out for around another three weeks or so.
