Bulgarian Linked - Ipswich Town News
Bulgarian reports claim Town are interested in Levski Sofia goalkeeper Dimitar Ivankov. Given the Blues' imminent signing of Wimbledon's Kelvin Davis the story looks unlikely to be correct.
According to the report the Blues are ready to pay £500,000 for the 27-year-old stopper who will be in action for Levski at Portman Road on Friday in a friendly. Apparently Joe Royle has watched the Bulgarian international on video.
While the Blues have spent most of the summer looking for a keeper, Kelvin Davis looks set to sign early this week after completing a Portman Road medical making any further moves for keepers out of the question.
Earlier this summer Royle said that he had been contacted by a number of foreign agents about various keepers and Ivankov could well have been amongst them.
