Town Lose at Cricket - Ipswich Town News
A Town cricket side lost in a bowl out against Ipswich and East Suffolk Cricket Club at Chantry Park on Monday night. The game was played to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Ipswich and East Suffolk.
Amongst the players involved were Jim Magilton, wicketkeeper Matt Bloomfield, Ian Westlake, Matt Richards and Darren Bent who made a number of catches.
Both sides ended their innings on 112, Darren Bent being bowled off the final delivery of the Town innings with glory in his sights. Ipswich and East Suffolk won the bowl off 3-2.
