West Brom chairman Jeremy Peace has confirmed that his club and Town have been in discussions regarding the future of Thomas Gaardsøe since the weekend. TWTD understands that David Sheepshanks and his board are meeting this afternoon to discuss the proposed move.
Peace said this afternoon: "We can confirm we have held further discussions with Ipswich since the weekend with a view to making Thomas an Albion player.
"Ipswich have reacted to our bids by issuing us with a counter proposal and talks are ongoing.
