McGreal Return at Boston - Ipswich Town News
Defender John McGreal returns to action this evening as the Blues take on former full-back Neil Thompson's Boston side at York Street.
McGreal has been out since last season with a knee problem while Jermaine Wright, Matt Bloomfield and Matt Richards will all be continuing their injury comebacks. Wright and Richards were involved at Colchester on Saturday and Bloomfield played in an academy game against Southwold.
Boston manager Thompson says he is looking forward to meeting up with old friends: "It will be good to see people again and we are all looking forward to a competitive match.
"They are a quality outfit and are sure to provide us with another stern test and that is just what we need."
Former Town striker Richard Logan will be involved for Boston as will Lee Beevers who left Portman Road for York Street on a free transfer in the summer.
