Squad for Levski - Ipswich Town News

Town manager Joe Royle has named his squad for Friday's home pre-season friendly with Levski Sofia (KO 7.45pm). Chris Makin is the only injury worry but he is expected to be OK to start at the left of defence.

Royle told the club site that Friday's team will be the shape of things to come: "The team that starts on Friday will be very close to the one I have in mind for our opening match of the season against Reading next week."

That team looks likely to line-up 4-3-3 with new man Davis in goal, Makin at left-back and Wilnis on the right. At the centre Drissa Diallo will probably be partnered by Richard Naylor with Georges Santos sat in front of the back four, as he was throughout the Scandinavian tour.

Captain Jim Magilton and Tommy Miller are likely to make up the rest of the midfield with Bents Darren and Marcus up front with Pablo Couñago.

Squad: D Bent, M Bent, Bowditch, Collins, Couñago, Davis, Diallo, Magilton, Makin, Miller, Naylor, Price, Reuser, Richards, Santos, Westlake, Wilnis and Wright.
