Town to Switch to 4-4-2 - Ipswich Town News
The Town side for this evening's home Carlng Cup clash with Kidderminster sees a number of changes. Joe Royle announced earlier in the week that he would switch things around for the visit of the Harriers.
The Town boss will use a 4-4-2 formation with Martijn Reuser coming in on the left. Jermaine Wright will be in central midfield with Georges Santos taking Richard Naylor's place at centre-half.
Marcus Bent is left out so that Darren Bent and Pablo Couñago can start up front. Matt Richards will be at left-back while Chris Makin will be on the right with Fabian Wilnis expected to take over at half-time.
Defender Matt Gadsby is likely to miss out for Kidderminster with a knee problem, however weekend goalscorer Bo Henriksen and Adie Smith are both available after suffering recent knocks.
Town squad: D Bent, M Bent, Bowditch, Couñago, Davis, Diallo, Magilton, Makin, Miller, Naylor, Price, Reuser, Richards, Santos, Wilnis and Wright.
