Holland Worry - Ipswich Town News

Town skipper Matt Holland is the Blues' major worry after last night's dramatic draw with Manchester United. Holland was injured by a first half challenge from Gary Neville which left him nursing a sore ankle. He is a major worry for Saturday. Holland has played every game for Town since signing from Bournemouth three seasons ago.

The press have heaped praise on Town after last night's display and even Sir Alex Ferguson was impressed, and not just with the team: "It was a thrilling game. Ipswich fought like tigers and they fully deserved their draw. You know when teams come up they will cause you problems and that was the case. The atmosphere was fantastic. It was like a 45,000 stadium, the noise they made was incredible".

Town manager George Burley said of his side: "We fully deserved a draw and I said at half-time that we had to keep pressing and passing the way we had been doing. It was important that we kept going and we did."

Town reserves play their first match in the Premier Reserve League (South)tonight at Kingstonian against Chelsea (KO 7pm). The Blues once gain include trialist Tom English, we're not sure who this Evaldo is as yet, but we'll find out. Town squad: Branagan, Pullen, Evaldo, J Miller, Mowbray, Moffat, Abidallah, Niven, Friars, Logan, Midgley, Graaven, Nichols, English and Artun.
