Bent Story Refuted - Ipswich Town News
Town boss Joe Royle has described as rubbish a story on an unofficial Newcastle United website claiming that Darren Bent was in talks with the Magpies.
The report, which even contained supposed quotes from a Town spokesman and Royle, was news to the club when TWTD queried it with them and now Royle has made his opinion of it clear: "This is complete rubbish. I don't know where they get this from."
Bent will hope to be in the Town starting line-up at Crewe on Saturday.
