Tommy: I'd Prefer England - Ipswich Town News

Scotland-targeted midfielder Tommy Miller says he would rather play for England than adotped country Scotland. Miller, who qualifies for the Scots through his grandmother, was watched on Wednesday night by scout Archie Gemmill.

Miller was born in Easington in the North-East of England and says that a call from Sven would be preferable, although he isn't expecting to hear from any international side: "If it comes, it comes, but I'm not getting my hopes up. I have heard nothing although it would be nice.

"You see what it did for Matt Holland. I'm not sure how Irish he really is but he played and scored in the World Cup, and he loved playing for them.

"I have to admit if I had the choice I would prefer the white of England to the blue of Scotland but the chances of that are even further off."
