Jim Fixed? - Ipswich Town News
Jim Magilton still hopes to line-up for Town in Saturday's opener against Nottingham Forest. Magilton has been suffering from a bloodclot on his thigh and still sees his chances as 50/50. Adam Tanner's surgeon has confirmed that his knee problem is merely scar tissue causing problems and not a recurrence of the problem which needed and operation over the summer.
Meanwhile John McGreal has been getting used to life around Portman Road. The 27 year old has signed a four year contract and had no qualms about joining Town: "Ipswich is an excellent club. The highest compliment I can pay them is to say that Tranmere always had a plan to get plenty of men behind the ball when we played Ipswich". Yes, John we all remember those games. McGreal makes his debut in Tony Mowbray's position on Saturday.
