Atay to Sign Deal - Ipswich Town News
Young midfielder Adem Atay has won himself a two-year professional contract with the Blues. Atay impressed manager Joe Royle in pre-season and also in the opening reserves game of 2003/04 against Southampton on Wednesday.
Royle says Atay, who is from Cambridge but spent part of his childhood living in Turkey, will put pen to paper on the deal soon: "Adem has done extremely well and he will sign a professional contract in the next day or so."
