Price Right for Joe - Ipswich Town News
Town manager Joe Royle says he will play youngster Lewis Price against West Ham on Saturday if Kelvin Davis fails to recover from his dislocated finger.
Davis, who picked up the injury in the closing stages of Tuesday's loss at Wigan, is rated 50/50 for the Hammers clash.
Royle says Davis will be assessed and Price will play if the ex-Wimbledon stopper isn't fit: "We will see how he is but if he doesn't make it then Lewis will make his debut.
"It is only right that he is given his chance."
Royle's other option would be to play out of favour Andy Marshall, however this doesn't see to be something the Town boss is inclined to do.
Despite being on a free transfer Marshall since May is yet to find a club.
