Ballot News - Ipswich Town News
Supporters looking to get tickets via the ballot are going to get more tickets than they imagined. The club have announced that just 4,500 people have entered themselves for the lottery and that could see tickets allocated for every other game. Supporters can still register for the ballot up 'til September 23rd, although you'll have to register for memebership of either Portman Plus or Blues Crew by September 8th.
With membership of the Portman Plus, Portman Plus Gold and Blues Crew now at more than 15,000 people the club are surprised at the number entering the ballot. Richard Powell, the man behind the ballot, said: "I was surprised that more people didn't take up the option of joining the ballot. Some supporters may have been sceptical as to their chances of being allocated tickets."
Expect a bit of a rush over the remaining few weeks.
