Crouch Joins Canaries - Ipswich Town News
Peter Crouch has today joined Town rivals Norwich City on a three month loan deal. The Aston Villa player was said to be a target of Blues boss Joe Royle.
Joe said earlier today said he had looked into taking the 6'7" striker to Portman Road but had only spoken to the agent as to availability.
Talking to the official Norwich website, Canaries boss Nigel Worthington said "I'm delighted to get a Premier League player of Peter's quality. He's a player we've admired for some time and for us to get a player of Peter's quality to Norwich is very exciting."
