Mahon Loan Confirmed - Ipswich Town News
Blues' boss Joe Royle has confirmed that Blackburn left winger Alan Mahon has agreed to join Town on loan for three months.
Royle told the club site that he has talked to the Irishman and he will be involved in Town training early next week: "I have spoken to Alan and he has agreed to join us and will be down for training on Monday.
"There are still a couple of formalities to tie up but Alan will be with us next week and will be in contention for the West Brom game next Saturday.”
Royle also says that Mahon may not be the only man in on a short-term basis prior to the trip to the Hawthorns: "It's certainly not impossible that we will have another player with us in time for the West Brom game as well as Alan.
"We have got a budget to work within and we will have a look at the situation again next week."
