Diallo Out for Two Weeks - Ipswich Town News

Central defender Drissa Diallo will be out of action for two weeks after sustaining medial ligament damage in his accidental clash with team-mate Georges Santos on Saturday.

Diallo's condition was assessed today and he is expected miss the trips to Notts County, Watford and Sunderland and the home match with Rotherham.

Richard Naylor will almost certainly take his place at the centre of defence alongside Santos.

Town will be without Darren Bent at Notts County, the striker also has a medial ligament problem. He is rated as doubtful for the trip to Watford at the weekend.

In addition to Saturday's knocks the Blues also have Martijn Reuser (groin), Chris Makin (thigh), John McGreal (back) and Tommy Miller (knee) on the sidelines at present.

With so many senior players out Joe Royle will have to draft in the likes of Matt Bloomfield, Aiden Collins and Antonio Murray to his squad for the visit to Meadow Lane.
