Ross County manager Alex Smith is spending time with the Town academy this week. The Highlands club are modelling their youth set-up on the Blues' academy.
The Scottish Division One side's academy director, Neil McIntosh, is also at Playford Road for the two-day period during which time they will have meetings with his opposite number Bryan Klug and Blues' boss Joe Royle .
County have been looking at the Town academy for more than a year. Smith and McIntosh will be watching many of the Blues' academy players in action for the reserves against Wimbledon at Portman Road this evening (KO 7pm).
