Bart May Extend Stay - Ipswich Town News
On-loan midfielder Chris Bart-Williams could remain with Town for as long as three months, Town boss Joe Royle has revealed.
The current terms of the Charlton player's loan will see him stay at Town for a month, however Royle is keen for him to be at Portman Road for longer: "I agreed with Charlton boss Alan Curbishley to a three-month deal in principle.
"But Alan wants to review it every month with a view to his squad situation.
"This is understandable, but hopefully in a fortnight's time we can extend the loan for a further four-week period."
Bart-Williams will return to the Town side on Saturday at Watford after missing out at Notts County on Tuesday as Curbishley didn't want him cup-tied.
