Kuqi Price ÂŁ250,000 - Ipswich Town News
Reports in Yorkshire claim that Sheffield Wednesday would accept ÂŁ250,000 for loan striker Shefki Kuqi. The Finnish international scored six minutes into his debut for the Blues as a sub at Watford.
Wednesday boss Chris Turner wants to see higher earners leave Hillsborough so he can bring in new faces. Kuqi, earning a reported ÂŁ6,000-a-week, and fellow striker Lloyd Owusu are amongst the players he wants to see depart.
A fee of ÂŁ250,000 looks out of reach for the Blues at present but may be affordable should one of their higher earners depart between now and the end of Kuqi's three-month loan spell and they are keen to sign the 26-year-old permanently.
