Kuqi Price £250,000 - Ipswich Town News
Reports in Yorkshire claim that Sheffield Wednesday would accept £250,000 for loan striker Shefki Kuqi. The Finnish international scored six minutes into his debut for the Blues as a sub at Watford.
Wednesday boss Chris Turner wants to see higher earners leave Hillsborough so he can bring in new faces. Kuqi, earning a reported £6,000-a-week, and fellow striker Lloyd Owusu are amongst the players he wants to see depart.
A fee of £250,000 looks out of reach for the Blues at present but may be affordable should one of their higher earners depart between now and the end of Kuqi's three-month loan spell and they are keen to sign the 26-year-old permanently.
