Chris' Loan Extended - Ipswich Town News
Joe Royle has extended Chris Bart-Williams' loan at Town by a further month. The Charlton Athletic midfielder has impressed his temporary new boss, in particular his role allowing freedom to other players.
Joe told the Club site: "I've spoken with Charlton boss Alan Curbishley and he has agreed that we can extend Chris' loan spell for another month.
"Chris has made a great contribution for us and has helped release Jim Magilton into an attacking midfield role that has brought some matchwinning performances.
"I am delighted he will be able to stay with us longer."
As reported earlier in the month, the London club are willing to extend the deal for three months but wanted to review it every four weeks to monitor their injury situation.
