Bent Set for Return? - Ipswich Town News
Striker Darren Bent could be in Joe Royle's squad at Bradford on Saturday after all. The 19-year-old could be sent back from the England U21 party after breaking down in training due to his knee injury.
Royle says the front man's knock is not too bad: "The good news is that it's not serious and if Darren is back with us we'll see how he is with regard to Saturday's game. We're not ruling him out."
Club physio Dave Williams is waiting to hear from his England counterparts regarding Bent's fitness.
The academy product picked up the injury as he netted in Town's 4-1 victory over Wimbledon at Portman Road last month.
