Joe Praise for Nash - Ipswich Town News
Blues' boss Joe Royle has praised debut-making central defender Gerard Nash. The 17-year-old came on as a late sub in the thrashing of Burnley last night.
Royle told the club site that he expects great things of Nash and fellow centre-half Aidan Collins: "Gerard is a player, there is no doubt about that.
"He 's terrific at bringing the ball out from the back, and along with Aidan Collins we have a very bright future in the central defensive positions."
Collins, who made his senior debut in the 4-1 win against Derby last season, is 17 on Saturday.
