U19s Face Spurs - Ipswich Town News

Town's U19s face Spurs away on Saturday morning (11am). However, a number of players will be missing as they are on international duty.

Striker Sam Morrow is with the Northern Ireland squad at present, but lasted only seven minutes of their opening European Championships qualifier against Hungary on Thursday night.

Morrow, who recently made his senior debut against Notts County, had been suffering with a thigh injury prior to joining up with the Northern Irish.

They also face games against Slovenia in Newry on Saturday and Romania on October 20th in Belfast.

Academy keeper Shane Supple and full-back Michael Synott are in the Republic of Ireland U19 squad, also for European Championship qualification matches.

They come up against Austria on October 21st, Belarus two days later and then Switzerland on October 25th.

Academy striker Daryl Knights is in the England U16 squad for the Victory Shield match against Northern Ireland at Rushden and Diamonds' Nene Park on Friday evening. The game is live on Sky Sports One (7.30pm).
