Morrow On For N Ireland - Ipswich Town News
Academy striker Sam Morrow came on as a 70th minute sub for the Northern Irish U19s in their 2-1 defeat against Romania last night.
The game was the third of Northern Ireland's European Championship qualifiers, however they will not progress to the next stage of the competition.
Morrow played seven minutes of their first game, a 0-0 draw against Hungary but was not involved in the second match, a 3-1 loss to Slovenia.
Academy keeper Shane Supple and full-back Michael Synott are in the Republic of Ireland U19 squad, also for European Championship qualification matches.
The Irish face Austria tonight, Belarus on Thursday and Switzerland on Saturday.
