Collins Signs Deal - Ipswich Town News
Young central defender Aidan Collins has celebrated his 17th birthday by signing a three-year deal with the Blues.
Collins, currently out with an ankle ligament injury, made his debut for the first team in the 4-1 win at Derby last season.
Town boss Joe Royle told the club site that Collins is yet another player with promise to emerge from the club's youth set-up: "Aidan is another big tick for the academy and I'm sure he will go on to enjoy a good career in the game.
"With Aidan and Gerard Nash at the club, the future looks bright in the central defensive positions here."
